DCEC 6LTAA8.9 series pump drive engine is a 6-cylinders in line, 8.9 liters four-strokes engine with 114 mm bore and 145mm stroke. DCEC 6LTAA8.9 series pump drive engine equipped with mechanical fuel pump and electronic governor. The prime power range of DCEC 6LTAA8.9 series pump drive engine is from 179 kW to 264 kW.

DCEC pump drive engines have different configurations which have different power output, with code T in the engine model name means turbocharged engine, code TA in the engine model means turbocharge with water-air intercooler and code TAA in the engine model means turbocharge with air-air intercooler.
