Since the commissioning of Hongqiao Energy Center 1 and 2, eight Cummins Power C1400N5C natural gas generating units have been tasked with providing air conditioning and heating loads and domestic hot water loads for the 3.7 square kilometers of buildings in the key areas of the Hongqiao Business District.
Currently, the Hongqiao Business District Energy Center has been running for more than 28,000 hours on a single machine, and the total running time of the whole station is more than 200,000 hours. The energy supply access of 33 neighborhoods in the core area has been completed, with an access area of more than 2.7 million square meters.
To ensure normal energy supply in the 2022 heating season, the service team of Cummins authorized dealers performed medium maintenance (30,000-hour class) on eight units of the Energy Center.
To ensure that the maintenance work is carried out efficiently, DCEC Shanghai Branch takes advantage of the global master parts distribution center to prepare the parts required for repair and replacement within a short period of time, saving the preliminary preparation time. In addition, the service team of DCEC Shanghai Branch crossed over with the authorized dealer’s service team at several stages to greatly shorten the repair work time.
